Every day in the UK 2,000 people retire, in North America it’s 10,000. People retire all the time and we are always talking about financially retiring, but what about psychologically retiring.

1) Vacation
Wake up when you want.
Do what you want. No Set Routine. Relaxing.
Is this all there is?
We get bored, we miss our routines. Asking is this all there is to retirement?
2) Loss and Lost
We lose the "Big 5"... Routine, Identity, Relationships, Control/Power, & Purpose.
I didn't expect this
Can last for a short amount of time to forever. You feel fear, anxiety or sadness.
3) Trial and Error
We ask ourselves how can we make life meaningful again. How can I contribute.
Try new things
Search for how to make life meaningful. Time to experiment. Try things out.
4) Reinvention
Regain the "Big 5"
Reinvent Yourself
Share your wisdom and expertise. Service to others.
